If connecting 2 RELs, Connect the black wire of each REL to a ground lug or a chassis screw of the corresponding amplifier channel; twist together the red and yellow wires of each REL separately and connect each pair to the positive speaker terminal of the corresponding amplifier channel. In some instances, this will result in exceptionally high gain (output) from the RELs. If it seems simply too high in gain, please remove either the red or yellow wire from the twisted pair. This will reduce output by half and restore a natural dynamic.
Note: You connect your left and right main speakers to the same terminals on your receiver or amplifier as the REL high level connection.

Disconnecting one of the wires to reduce gain doesn't do anything for me, the gain remains the same and is too high... Do I just leave the disconnected wire hanging in the air? Thanks.
Hai there , i'm using pair of rel strata2 with pair of cyrus mbloc power amp on mono mode. I've tried to connect high level connection using the suggested methods either to power amp or speaker but both humming. For your info my rel stara2 using old bal socket not the speakon socket. Is it bocause of the socket or else? Tq
And where is the segment on connecting two monoblocs as suggested in the video title? Sorry, but ????
