Connecting a single REL via High Level to two mono block amps almost always results in audible hum from the REL due to a ground loop between the chassis. Ground loops are caused by small voltage differences in component chassis. When a REL is connected to a stereo amp, or integrated amp, this is not a problem because there is one chassis. With mono block amps, there are two chassis that the high level cable input must bridge and will pick up ground loop hum when connected to both chassis. This hum is nearly impossible to eliminate.
WE assume that customers that use mono block amps in their system are on the road to finding the very best sound from their system. Using two RELs, one dedicated to each mono amp will produce clarity, transparency, speed and detail, NOT just in the low bass but throughout the entire spectrum of sound.
